Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations across North America and Europe. The role combines full‑cycle accounting, multi‑country payroll, and public‑company reporting in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full‑cycle accounting, including bank reconciliations, month‑end journal entries, allocations, accruals and intercompany transactions in NetSuite.
• Manage multi‑country payroll processing, annual payroll reconciliation, and related tax filings (T4, T4A, HST/GST, Ontario EHT, WSIB).
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and contractor disbursements across multiple currencies.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, supporting public‑company and board‑level reporting.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, monitor foreign‑currency impacts, and ensure compliance with international accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors, service providers, and government agencies; support audit documentation and insurance policy renewals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent professional qualification.
• Extensive experience in full‑cycle accounting, multi‑country payroll, and financial reporting for public companies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex, cross‑border financial operations.

Required skills

• NetSuite accounting platform.
