Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fast‑growing safety‑focused organization. The role will be central to our financial reporting, month‑end close, audit coordination and tax compliance activities, ensuring accurate and timely information for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Complete month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce close timelines and enhance accuracy.
• Partner with FP&A and operational teams to provide performance insights.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and coordinate annual audit planning, timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare audit schedules, working papers and supporting documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax provisions.

Required profile

• Motivated self‑starter with strong accounting knowledge.
• Proven experience in month‑end close, audit coordination and tax compliance.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.
