Security Analyst

About the role

The Security Analyst will join a collaborative IT and security team to protect critical systems across production and development environments. You will monitor security tools, investigate alerts, and support incident response while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update security hardware and software inventories and configurations.
• Monitor security tools, review reports, and investigate alerts or anomalies.
• Execute manual vulnerability, antivirus, and asset scans and follow up on findings.
• Support incident response, resolve security tickets, and escalate critical issues.
• Contribute to audits, compliance activities (e.g., PCI) and enforce security policies.
• Collaborate with IT operations, vendors, and stakeholders to deploy and enhance security solutions.
• Assist in security projects, system implementations, and technology selection.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and operational procedures for security governance.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of IT experience, preferably with exposure to security operations.
• College diploma in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure: networks, firewalls, VPNs, servers, and endpoint systems.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements such as PCI.
