Seasonal Landscape Construction Labourer – Edmonton

About the role

Join Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc as a Landscape Construction Labourer for a seasonal position in the Edmonton area. You will travel to multiple job sites, working outdoors to create and maintain parks, trails, and urban green spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Transport and spread topsoil, load and unload materials safely.
• Plant sod, shrubs, and trees according to project plans.
• Construct landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Dig, grade, and level earth to prepare sites.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, following all safety protocols.
• Operate hand and power tools responsibly while collaborating with the crew.

Required profile

• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and transport items up to 50 lb.
• Minimum Class 5 driver’s licence and personal vehicle.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and a “Safety First” attitude.
• Must provide own CSA‑approved steel‑toed boots and a smartphone.

Required skills

• CSTS 2020 certification (may be provided).
• Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Proficient operation of hand and power tools.
