Salon Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Salon Manager to lead daily operations at our hairstyling salon in Vancouver. The role combines staff leadership, client service, and hands‑on styling expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control daily salon operations, evaluate performance, and implement policies.
• Plan and manage budget, inventory, and scheduling of staff.
• Hire, train, supervise staff and address customer complaints.
• Schedule and confirm client appointments and create work schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school graduation.
• At least 5 years experience in a barbershop or hairstyling salon.
• Availability for shift, on‑call, evening, night, weekend work.

Required skills

• Ability to suggest hairstyles compatible with client features.
• Proficiency in cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and styling hair.
• Analyze hair and scalp condition.
