Sales Trainee (Contract) – Customer & Route Support

About the role

The Sales Trainee supports sales initiatives and provides route coverage for colleagues during vacations, sick leave, or special projects. Working closely with management, the trainee maintains customer relationships across large and small format off‑premise stores, ensuring Red Bull products are serviced safely, productively, and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Red Bull products in assigned distribution accounts and determine current product needs.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to increase sales and shelf space.
• Maintain brand standards through proper product rotation, fresh stock, and clean equipment.
• Train with senior Account Sales Managers and cover their routes when required.
• Monitor competitor activities, such as new launches and price changes, and report to the District Sales Manager.
• Achieve monthly KPIs covering sales, distribution, pricing, displays, new accounts, and merchandising.

Required profile

• Preferred prior sales experience, especially in consumer packaged goods or retail.
• Knowledge of the beverage market is an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent; university experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship‑building, mathematical, and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to work flexible shifts.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
