Sales Representative

About the role

Williams Machinery is expanding its operations in Prince George, BC and seeks a proactive Sales Representative to develop new material handling equipment sales opportunities and support rental solutions across Northwest British Columbia. You will work directly with customers to understand their needs and recommend the right equipment, whether for purchase or rental, helping local businesses succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Pursue and develop new sales opportunities for material handling equipment in Prince George and the wider Northwest BC region.
• Support rental solutions as part of comprehensive customer proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and the local community.
• Conduct on‑site equipment walk‑arounds, field demonstrations, and professional sales presentations.
• Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate equipment solutions for both purchase and rental.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment or a related industry.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and customer‑service abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel across Northwest British Columbia, Canada, and occasionally to the United States for OEM training and industry events.
• Valid driver’s licence.
