About the role

Join BC Liquor Stores as an Auxiliary Sales Associate in Prince George. This on‑call, shift‑based position supports store operations by delivering friendly, high‑quality customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection, inquiries, and purchases.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and perform accurate calculations.
• Stock shelves, receive deliveries, and lift boxes weighing up to 25 kg.
• Participate in the Liquor Distribution Branch’s recycling program, handling large volumes of bottles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

Required profile

• At least 19 years of age and legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Secondary (high school) diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Serving It Right Certificate.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Willingness to work shift hours on an on‑call basis.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal communication and customer‑service skills.
• Basic cash‑handling and mathematical aptitude.
• Physical capability to lift and move 20‑25 kg boxes.
