Sales Executive – Business Travel & Tour

About the role

Join the largest hotel in Vancouver as a Sales Executive focused on Business Travel and Tour & Travel. You will drive sales, engage clients, and activate on‑property experiences while supporting operations and uncovering new opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage FIT reservations, rate sheets, and in‑house inquiries.
• Develop and maintain FIT client relationships, upsell services and generate new business.
• Handle ad‑hoc tour and travel bookings and create new accounts throughout the year.
• Conduct competitive analysis, industry updates and business development activities.
• Lead on‑property site inspections and participate in familiarisation trips.
• Submit GDS rate loads, update rate masters and produce regular business travel reports.
• Act as ambassador for business‑travel guests, engaging them at check‑in, check‑out and the Club Lounge.
• Attend industry events, client meetings and perform administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong guest service and sales orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; a second language is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, travel and attend evening/weekend events.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and self‑motivated with high energy.
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines and thriving in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as Lightspeed (CI/TY & SFA Web) – an asset.
