Business Development Manager – Automotive Refinish

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Automotive Refinish team in Southwestern Ontario. The role focuses on growing market share with automotive collision repair shops and distribution partners, requiring up to 50 % travel.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the business strategy and drive sales growth by identifying customers and market needs in the assigned territory.
• Develop market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, closing sales and recommending new products and services (approximately 70 % of the role).
• Manage existing relationships while developing new ones to expand the customer base.
• Establish trust and deliver value in a rapidly changing industry.
• Retain business and continuously increase sales performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in field sales, territory management and customer relations.
• Background in industrial sales (beneficial) and/or the collision industry (a plus).
• Strong relationship‑building and value‑based selling skills, with a proactive, results‑driven attitude.
