About the role

Bureau Veritas Canada is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Mining Laboratory Services in Quebec. The position is based in Montréal and focuses on expanding market share within the mining sector by acquiring new accounts and strengthening relationships with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop market share by acquiring new accounts and reinforcing presence with existing mining clients.
• Understand technical and regulatory issues that influence purchasing decisions.
• Participate in industry forums to raise Bureau Veritas’ visibility in the mining sector.
• Coordinate prospecting and service activities with internal teams such as customer service, operations, marketing, IT and sales.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of tailored sales strategies and forecast sales for assigned accounts.
• Collect and share market intelligence, support continuous improvement of customer‑service processes, and achieve defined sales and growth targets while spending approximately 80% of time traveling for client visits.
