About the role

Join Holt Renfrew’s Gift & Gourmet department as a Sales Associate, delivering exceptional service to discerning customers in a luxury retail environment. You will build lasting relationships, drive sales, and represent iconic fashion and gourmet brands.

Key responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary, personalized service to all customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales and service targets through commission‑based performance.
• Develop a loyal client base by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships.
• Attend product knowledge, vendor, and internal training sessions.
• Execute floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and other sales support tasks.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and mail about events, new merchandise, and follow‑ups.
• Resolve customer issues and collaborate with management on escalated matters.
• Adhere to health, safety, privacy, and cyber‑security policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a commission‑based luxury sales environment.
• Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team‑oriented, collaborative mindset.
• Active presence on social media platforms to promote personal fashion influence.
• Strong knowledge of current and emerging fashion trends.
• Broad product knowledge across all merchandise categories.
