Retail Team Leader

About the role

The Retail Team Leader supports the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the day‑to‑day operation of a busy retail store. This role combines hands‑on supervision of staff with responsibility for merchandising, customer service, and store safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store associates, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee store merchandising, shelf stocking, and handling of daily shipments.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve complaints promptly.
• Perform manager‑on‑duty duties such as break scheduling, time and attendance tracking.
• Implement visual merchandising standards and ensure store cleanliness and safety.
• Handle cash management, opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Participate in inventory processes, employee training, hiring, and performance management.

Required profile

• Minimum of one (1) year of retail experience.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Ambition to progress within the company.
• Open availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high‑volume environment.
