Retail Team Lead

About the role

The Retail Team Lead bridges the store’s leadership team and sales associates, ensuring smooth daily operations and a high‑energy customer experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will support store and assistant managers, model best‑in‑class selling behaviours, and keep the floor motivated and focused on goals.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate a customer‑obsessed selling culture and build brand loyalty through product knowledge.
• Partner with store management to execute action plans and oversee all operational activities.
• Contribute ideas that improve productivity and store operations.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching of new and existing associates.
• Resolve customer service issues and provide feedback to management.
• Delegate tasks, manage breaks, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including inventory duties as directed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail apparel (luxury retail a plus).
• Proven ability to lead a sales team and be recognized as a peer leader.
• Experience with POS management, daily banking procedures, and timely report submission.
• Strong organization and problem‑solving skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative, and available for varied shifts, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
