Research Assistant – Political Dictionary Project

About the role
The University of Ottawa is seeking two part‑time Research Assistants to support the development of the online Political Dictionary of Quebec’s Municipal Scene. This short‑term position runs from September 1 to October 9, 2026 and offers a bilingual work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and upload the online version of the Political Dictionary of Quebec’s Municipal Scene.
- Create visual materials to promote the dictionary in both English and French.
- Collaborate with the supervising professor to define work allocation and deliverables.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of Quebec’s municipal system.
- Excellent written communication skills in English and French.
- Proficiency with computer graphics software.

- Computer graphics software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).

- Hourly compensation ranging from $31.89 to $50.25 CAD.
