About the role

Join the Prep Academy Tutors team to deliver in‑home, in‑person academic support aligned with the Ontario curriculum. We are a private tutoring company serving students of all ages in the Ottawa area, seeking enthusiastic educators who love teaching and driving student success.

Key responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the Ontario curriculum.
• Develop customized learning plans that promote deep understanding rather than memorisation.
• Provide remedial and enrichment opportunities to meet each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them informed about progress, challenges and achievements.

Required profile

• Current, valid registration with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Qualified teacher in Canada or the United States, or in the process of becoming one.
• Teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited Canadian or U.S. university.
