Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Winnipeg)

About the role

The Simkin Centre is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our night‑shift team. You will provide high‑quality, compassionate care to seniors living in our 200‑bed, not‑for‑profit facility while coordinating resident care on your designated unit.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate resident care on the assigned unit on an ongoing basis.
• Direct all levels of nursing staff during the night shift to ensure optimal quality of care.
• Promote a client‑focused, multidisciplinary team approach.
• Adhere to CRNM standards, Simkin Centre policies, and the CNA code of ethics.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
• Three years of experience in geriatric and/or rehabilitative nursing.
• Strong organizational, communication and human‑relations skills.
• Good performance and attendance record; innovative and self‑motivated.
• Eligibility for criminal record, vulnerable sector and adult abuse checks.

Required skills

• Heart Saver certification.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• CNA certification in Gerontology (preferred).
