About the role
Advanced Massage Therapy is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our Winnipeg clinic. You will provide a variety of therapeutic massage techniques to help clients improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Administer massage techniques such as soft‑tissue manipulation, relaxation, hydrotherapy, trigger‑point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
- Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body.
- Assess clients by conducting range‑of‑motion and muscle tests and develop treatment plans.
- Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients and maintain accurate treatment records.
- Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues, and suggest home‑care instructions.
Required profile
- Accurate and detail‑oriented.
- Client‑focused with strong interpersonal awareness.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Values and ethics aligned with professional standards.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing demanding manual work.
