Recruiter – Full-Time in Calgary

About the role

Brunel is looking for a motivated Recruiter to join its Calgary team. You will drive the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to source and place top talent across a range of industries. This role is ideal for a results‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment from sourcing to placement.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define workforce needs and recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates via job boards, networking, referrals, social media and direct search.
• Screen, interview and assess candidates to ensure fit with client requirements.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the process.
• Negotiate offers and support successful onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and talent availability.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or staffing.
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
• Results‑driven mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Experience in engineering, technical, industrial, mining, energy or professional services sectors is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ATS platforms.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Familiarity with other sourcing tools.
