Recruiter – Energy & LNG Projects

About the role

The Recruiter will join Woodfibre LNG’s growing team, reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources. The role supports full‑cycle recruitment for operations, maintenance, engineering and other technical positions needed for the Woodfibre LNG export facility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for assigned roles, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer preparation.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, timelines and candidate profiles for plant operations, trades and technical positions.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, industry networks and employee referrals; attend job fairs and company events as needed.
• Screen and assess candidates for technical qualifications, relevant experience and cultural fit.
• Maintain active pipelines for frequently recruited roles such as operators, technicians and support staff.
• Provide hiring managers with updates on pipelines, market insights and recruitment progress.
• Support onboarding coordination and maintain accurate recruitment records in the applicant tracking system.
• Assist with recruitment reporting, hiring metrics and continuous improvement of processes.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of recruitment experience in energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, mining or related heavy‑industry sectors.
• Proven track record recruiting for plant operations, trades, technical or maintenance roles.
• Strong ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
