Recruiter – 6-Month Contract (Global Recruitment)

About the role

Rakuten Kobo is seeking a proactive Recruiter on a six‑month contract to join its Global Recruitment team. You will partner with business units worldwide to attract top talent and support the company’s growth and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full‑cycle recruiting process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
• Source, screen, and engage qualified candidates using AI‑driven platforms, generative tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Organize interview debriefs and coordinate with hiring managers to move candidates forward efficiently.
• Leverage competitive intelligence to identify new recruiting channels and build strong hiring manager partnerships.
• Drive offer approval, extension, and negotiation while maintaining best‑in‑class candidate communication.
• Represent Kobo at external recruitment events and career fairs as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in both agency and corporate settings.
• Proven ability to recruit for technical and business roles across multiple functions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building lasting relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
• Flexibility and adaptability to a fast‑moving, global environment.
