Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that Olli Brands’ cannabis products meet all regulatory, safety, and internal quality standards. Working in a fast‑paced laboratory and production environment, you will be responsible for testing, sample preparation, and thorough documentation to maintain product consistency and prevent contamination.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full compliance with all applicable cannabis regulations and act as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies.
• Lead external audits, inspections, and manage required licenses, SOPs, and regulatory filings.
• Develop and oversee quality management systems aligned with GPP, GMP, and EU GMP standards.
• Implement SOPs, batch records, deviation reports, CAPAs, and change‑control processes.
• Oversee product testing, release, labeling, environmental monitoring, sanitation, and pest‑control programs.
• Participate in internal audits, manage corrective actions, product recalls, complaints, and non‑conformances.
• Evaluate vendor and supplier quality assurance programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage quality management systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
