Purchasing Logistics Specialist

About the role

Capital Food Services is seeking a Purchasing Logistics Specialist to join its Purchasing, Logistics & International Transportation department in Montreal. The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day purchasing, logistics coordination, import/export activities and international transportation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing activities and supplier coordination.
• Support logistics planning and execution for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Handle import and export documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate international transportation arrangements.

Required profile

• Organized, proactive and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Good attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Experience with import/export documentation.
• Familiarity with logistics terminology.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers (asset).
