About the role
Capital Food Services is seeking a Purchasing Logistics Specialist to join its Purchasing, Logistics & International Transportation department in Montreal. The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day purchasing, logistics coordination, import/export activities and international transportation operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with purchasing activities and supplier coordination.
- Support logistics planning and execution for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Handle import and export documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate international transportation arrangements.
Required profile
- Organized, proactive and motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Good attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
Required skills
- Experience with import/export documentation.
- Familiarity with logistics terminology.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers (asset).
