Project Manager – Client Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will act as the primary liaison between the client and Norbec from quote acceptance through order shipment. Reporting to the Client Projects Manager, the role coordinates cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the estimating team to produce accurate client quotes for major or complex projects.
• Review client quote requests and purchase orders, submit resale product requests, and negotiate storage fees when applicable.
• Participate in project launch meetings, facilitate internal kick‑offs, and lead client launch meetings for complex projects.
• Coordinate production and procurement meetings to track schedules, shipping dates, and order status.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to collect missing information, resolve discrepancies, and provide visibility on project progress.
• Manage approval drawings, revisions, and engineer stamping; inform clients of additional costs and apply revision tags.
• Create and monitor orders in Epicor ERP through to completion.
• Track site progress, provide after‑sales support, and monitor project profitability (cost, quality, timeline).
• Assist in onboarding and coaching team members when needed.

Required profile

• DEP or DEC in Estimating, Project Management, Architecture, or equivalent training.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience using Epicor ERP.
• Familiarity with e‑Plans measurement software.
• Knowledge of SharePoint.
