Project Coordinator – Residential Construction

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team in Winnipeg. You will support multi‑family residential construction projects by monitoring schedules, managing documentation, and ensuring project health.

Key responsibilities

• Track project schedules, change orders, back‑charges, deficiencies, progress and close‑out activities.
• Maintain and coordinate project documentation such as RFIs, site instructions, daily logs, issue/risk logs, drawing logs, inspection/test logs, professional schedules and punch lists.
• Facilitate resolution of construction issues, including procurement, contracts, budgeting, equipment, manpower, quality and safety.
• Initiate and manage workflow delays, back‑charge processes, warranty claims and scope changes.
• Attend client meetings, liaise with owner representatives and prepare communication charts.
• Use MS Project and other scheduling tools to monitor construction health and generate management reports.
• Lead pre‑construction planning, project meetings and continuous improvement of PMO standards.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Building Technology, Engineering, Project Management, a Red Seal Construction Trade Qualification or equivalent.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• MS Project
• Construction management software (experience considered an asset)
