Project Coordinator – Nuclear Projects

About the role

Black & McDonald’s Power Generation team is growing! If you are a committed and collaborative professional looking to contribute to a hard‑working, innovative team, this opportunity is for you. The Project Coordinator is based in Pickering and reports directly to the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute modification projects in line with corporate policy, managing day‑to‑day project activities.
• Coordinate project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and progress reporting using MS Project or Primavera.
• Chair project meetings, distribute minutes, and track work progress and quality across design disciplines and trades.
• Maintain contract execution logs, manage change notices, and prepare close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Effective communication, customer focus, and problem‑solving mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent related experience.
• Up to 2 years experience as a Project Coordinator in the nuclear power plant or related construction/industrial sector.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of project management, engineering and construction processes.
• Proficiency with MS Project and/or Primavera and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical abilities.
