Professor, Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

About the role

Lambton College is seeking a Professor to join its Faculty of Applied Science, Engineering Technology and Trades. You will teach the Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician program, acting as coach, teacher and mentor while advocating for student success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership through program and course design and revision.
• Define and evaluate learning outcomes and develop appropriate teaching environments.
• Create assessments, rubrics and evaluate student achievement.
• Support student learning progress and maintain industry relevance through consultation with industry representatives.
• Participate actively in curriculum development, committees and adopt best practices across the post‑secondary system.

Required profile

• Professional expertise in heating, refrigeration and air‑conditioning technologies.
• Ability to coach, teach and mentor diverse learners.
• Experience in curriculum development and academic leadership.
• Willingness to engage in faculty committees and maintain current industry knowledge.
