Professional Painter – Interior & Exterior

About the role

GCT Contracting Inc. is seeking a reliable painter to join its team in North Vancouver. You will work on a variety of on‑site projects, providing high‑quality interior and exterior finishes for residential and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces before painting.
• Repair cracks and holes to ensure a smooth substrate.
• Mix paints to achieve the required colour and texture.
• Advise customers on colour choices and wall‑covering options.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 2 to less than 3 years of hands‑on painting experience.
• Ability to work on‑site at various locations and travel as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Surface preparation and sanding.
• Paint mixing and colour matching.
• Interior and exterior painting techniques.
• Wallpaper installation and wall‑covering application.
