Professional Auditor

About the role

The Professional Auditor will join the Internal Audit and Compliance Branch of Manitoba's Treasury Board Secretariat. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, you will lead comprehensive audits and data‑analytics projects that support financial investigations and governance across the provincial government.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audits for assigned portfolios.
• Perform data‑analytics to identify risks, control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Support financial investigations and provide advisory insights to senior management.
• Train and coach staff in governance, risk and control practices.
• Collaborate with other division portfolios to share best practices and audit findings.
