About the role
Radix Bookkeeping Payroll & Tax Services is seeking a detail‑oriented bookkeeper to join our on‑site team in Winnipeg. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and supporting tax preparation for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including fixed‑asset depreciation.
- Maintain general ledgers, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare trial balances, financial statements, and various accounting reports.
- Prepare tax returns and other statutory filings.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a client‑focused mindset.
- Reliability, organized, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Simply Accounting).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and the broader MS Office suite.
- Familiarity with MS Windows and basic scanner operation.
