Production Worker – Early Shift (5am‑1:30pm)

About the role
Cascadia Metals is seeking reliable production workers for its Surrey (Port Kells) facility. The position runs on an early shift from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm and involves supporting metal coil processing and finished‑product handling.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift or complete on‑the‑job training to do so.
- Unwrap coils, prepare them for manufacturing, and move them onto machinery.
- Load and unload coils, wrap and strap finished products, and build pallets as needed.
- Assist machine operators, tag and mark required material, and follow production plans.
- Maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
Required profile
- Strong punctuality and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to safety and ability to lift up to 50 lb.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (or willingness to be trained).
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
