Production Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions team in Regina, Saskatchewan. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and controlling capital and expense projects while ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital and expense projects from scoping through execution, applying engineering standards and technical specifications.
• Manage project selection, budgeting, scheduling, contractors, change orders, reporting, and invoicing.
• Coordinate production, construction, and outage activities with site leadership to minimize disruption.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and support process safety and operational readiness reviews.
• Own Management of Change (MOC) reviews and ensure approvals before startup.
• Maintain engineering documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, control narratives, and electrical single‑line diagrams.
• Coach engineering students and provide day‑to‑day leadership support.
• Provide production supervision coverage and participate in production and engineering meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
