Process Engineer – Liquid & Powder Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Process Engineer to support liquid and powder manufacturing operations across several facilities in Canada and the United States. The role combines troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and project execution on fast‑paced production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations of liquid and powder filling/process lines.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks, equipment reliability issues, and process inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve uptime and overall plant performance.
• Lead and support small‑to‑mid CapEx projects focused on process improvement.
• Assist with installation, start‑up, commissioning, and optimization of new manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain process systems such as pumps, transfer systems, utilities, filling systems, powder handling, and packaging equipment.
• Travel to U.S. sites to provide on‑site troubleshooting, improvement, and project support.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable project execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in chemical, food, consumer products, pharmaceutical or similar industries.
• Strong hands‑on troubleshooting background in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work legally and travel freely within the United States.
