About the role
We are looking for a compassionate child caregiver to join the Kumar family in Mississauga. The role involves providing attentive care for infants and children in a private home setting, ensuring their safety, well‑being and development.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers, assist with toilet training and maintain daily health records.
- Bath, dress, feed, and supervise infants and children, including preparing nutritious meals.
- Organize games, outings and social activities to support children’s personal and social development.
- Perform light housekeeping, clean the home, and care for family pets.
- Discipline children according to parents’ guidelines and create a safe, healthy environment.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, reliable and able to manage time effectively.
- Honest, patient and capable of exercising good judgement.
- Organized and able to handle physically demanding, repetitive tasks.
Required skills
- Current CPR certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
