About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Family Caregiver to provide personal care and support to clients in Mississauga. This full‑time permanent position involves assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and companionship. Shift options include early morning, morning, day, evening, and night, allowing you to choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle. The role participates in a government‑backed youth employment program, offering on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and a welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications
- Assist clients in water (e.g., pool)
- Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
- Assist in regular exercise such as walking
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Provide companionship
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Cook meals
