Pharmacy Provider Relations Representative - Contact Centre

About the role

This position serves as a primary point of contact between pharmacies, dental offices, and other healthcare providers and a health benefits organization. You will handle inbound calls, provide accurate information on claims, eligibility, and benefit plans, and help providers navigate complex processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound inquiries regarding benefit eligibility, plan coverage, prior approvals, claim status, and submission requirements.
• Verify and process claims using online adjudication and claims management systems.
• Document all provider interactions and log call details accurately.
• Investigate and resolve complex inquiries through research and data analysis.
• Provide feedback to management for workflow improvements and service enhancements.
• Support operational projects using Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and analysis.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call centre or healthcare environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, empathetic telephone manner.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to work in a fast‑paced setting.
• Ability to take ownership of issues and deliver accurate information consistently.
