Pharmacist – Medicines Management & PGD Specialist

About the role

Enhanced Care Services (ECS) is seeking an engaged and passionate pharmacist to provide expert advice on medicines management and patient group directive (PGD) use across the organisation. You will play a key part in monitoring, improving, and developing pharmaceutical services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and leadership in pharmaceutical care across all ECS activities.
• Work with the Deputy Medical Director to oversee medicines management and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee implementation, use and governance of PGD medications.
• Monitor and audit medicines and pharmaceutical usage.
• Advise on the ECS Medicines Formulary and support any changes.
• Support ECS clinicians on medicines‑related matters.
• Assist in developing and implementing new clinical services.
• Engage in CPD opportunities and act as an ambassador for ECS.
