Pharmacist

About the role

Join a locally owned pharmacy to provide health, beauty and convenience services to your community. As the on‑duty pharmacist you will ensure safe dispensing, offer professional consultations and support the overall operation of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing prescriptions and over‑the‑counter products.
• Provide counseling to customers and collaborate with health‑care providers.
• Maintain privacy, confidentiality and consent management for all patients.
• Control inventory, monitor expired stock and handle controlled substances reporting.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment reflects a professional image and complies with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Document incidents, handle store communications and support financial reporting as needed.

Required profile

• Independent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in leading pharmacy teams, delegating tasks and coaching colleagues.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and professional conduct.
• Ability to follow federal/provincial regulations and controlled‑substance legislation.

Required skills

• Personal computing proficiency.
• Knowledge of pharmacy management systems.
