Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Farsi Speaking (Part‑Time)

About the role

Personal Support Worker (PSW) needed to provide high‑quality personal care to clients in their homes. The position is casual/part‑time with flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, overnights and weekends, and requires fluency in Farsi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility support.
• Assist with activities of daily living, prepare meals, give medication reminders and perform light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands and community outings, and offer companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic charting and report any changes in client health.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Farsi (verbal and written).
• Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized Ontario program (NACC certification required).
• Valid vulnerable sector check, CPR/First Aid certification, and recent TB test or chest X‑ray.
• Reliable transportation and access to a mobile phone with internet.

Required skills

• Electronic charting documentation.
• Medication reminder and basic health monitoring.
