Personal Care Provider – Home Care

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Provider to deliver in‑home support for individuals with physical disabilities. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support regular exercise such as walking and mobility activities.
• Launder clothing and household linens and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Plan therapeutic diets, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and shop for food and household supplies.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and ensure client safety.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience in home care or personal support.
• Ability to handle up to 13.5 kg (30 lb) of weight.
• Criminal record check, references, and medical examination required.
• Attributes: punctuality, dependability, flexibility, good judgment, patience, honesty, and teamwork.
