Permanent Prep Teacher (Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate) – 1.0 FTE

About the role

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified teacher to fill a permanent full‑time Prep position at Madonna Della Libera School. The role can be assigned to either a Primary/Junior or a Junior/Intermediate classroom, working 1.0 FTE.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum aligned with Ontario standards and Catholic values.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators and support staff to enhance student learning.
• Participate in school-wide events, parent communication and community outreach.
• Keep an up‑to‑date professional portfolio, including any additional qualifications.

Required profile

• Valid Ontario College of Teachers qualification for Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate.
• Current, comprehensive teaching portfolio.
• Willingness to participate in the seniority‑based interview process as outlined by the OECTA collective agreement.
• Commitment to the Catholic mission and inclusive education.
