Part‑Time Professor – English Language Program (Humber‑KGU)

About the role

The Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Humber seeks a part‑time professor to deliver English language instruction at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka. You will teach English for Academic Purposes, TOEFL and IELTS preparation, workplace communication, and Canadian culture courses.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum for EAP, TOEFL, IELTS, and related modules.
• Assess student performance in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and research skills.
• Participate in curriculum redesign, define learning outcomes, and create instructional materials.
• Provide academic counseling tailored to the international context of the program.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications and teaching experience in English language instruction.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, international classroom setting.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with Canadian academic standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English language teaching methodologies.
• Experience preparing students for TOEFL and IELTS examinations.
