Part‑time Pharmacist – Clinical Coverage

About the role

The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide clinical coverage across its acute‑care and urgent‑care sites. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, the pharmacist will work in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment without overnight or on‑call requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medication dispensing and verification services in hospital and urgent‑care settings.
• Provide patient counseling and medication therapy management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure safe medication use.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.

Required profile

• Graduated from an accredited pharmacy program and holds a valid Ontario pharmacy licence.
• Available for part‑time hours with a regular schedule; no overnight or on‑call shifts required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
