Part‑Time Customer Experience Guide – Retail

About the role

Patagonia is looking for a part‑time Customer Experience Guide to represent the brand in its Toronto retail store. You will be the front‑line ambassador, ensuring every visitor receives knowledgeable, friendly service while supporting the store’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver best‑in‑class customer service by engaging shoppers, answering product questions, and driving sales.
• Maintain visual standards on the sales floor, including folding, hanging, steaming, and dressing mannequins.
• Process shipments, support inventory counts, and restock merchandise.
• Assist with sales event setup, product transfers, donations, and store marketing initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing training and help onboard new team members.
• Apply security and loss‑prevention measures to protect merchandise and ensure a safe environment.
• Contribute to Patagonia’s activism program by using allocated activism hours to support local non‑profits and community projects.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for outdoor activities.
• Ability to work flexible, part‑time hours in an in‑store setting.
• Willingness to learn product technical details and store procedures.
