About the role

We are seeking a Painter Helper to join our construction team in Courtenay, BC. This permanent, full‑time position supports daily site operations by handling materials and maintaining a clean work environment. The role involves assisting skilled painters, handling supplies, and ensuring the site remains clean and organized throughout each project.

Key responsibilities

Load, unload and transport construction materials safely across the site.
Clean and pile salvaged materials to keep the work area organized.
Remove rubble and other debris, ensuring the construction site remains safe and tidy.

Required profile

Accurate and detail‑oriented.
Client‑focused with a strong sense of reliability.
Dependable and hardworking team player.
Open to newcomers and refugees; no Canadian work experience required.
Provides on‑the‑job training tailored to youth.
Participates in cultural competency training to support Indigenous colleagues.
Available for morning and day shift schedules.
