Operating Room Nurse (Full-time, Day Shift)

About the role

Join a leading pediatric orthopedic hospital as an Operating Room Nurse. You will work on the day shift, Monday to Friday, providing peri‑operative care to children undergoing surgery in a multidisciplinary, patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the operating room for pediatric orthopedic procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists and support staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile technique, manage equipment and assist with patient positioning.
• Document care accurately and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

Required profile

• College diploma in nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an operating room.
• Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q.
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
• Acute care, orthopedic experience, and peri‑operative certification are assets.
