About the role

The Activity Manager is responsible for coordinating and controlling the daily operations of two private long‑term care facilities in Montreal. Reporting to the Care Services Coordinator, the role ensures that residents receive the appropriate clinical and support services while maintaining a safe environment, including emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor all activities across the two CHSLD sites to meet residents' health needs.
• Take appropriate actions during emergencies and ensure clinical‑administrative continuity.
• Allocate staff according to workload, expertise, and availability; arrange temporary replacements as needed.
• Participate in policy development, budget monitoring, and corrective actions to achieve financial balance.
• Report equipment, furniture, and supply needs; oversee their use and maintenance.
• Lead administrative and professional meetings, fostering collaboration with other network organizations.
• Promote new projects and contribute to their implementation.

Required profile

• Experience in health‑care management or a similar supervisory role within long‑term care.
• Strong knowledge of legal and administrative obligations governing CHSLD facilities.
• Ability to make decisive decisions in urgent situations.
• Excellent organizational skills for workload distribution and budget control.
• Effective communication with staff at all levels.

• Competitive salary between CAD 96,664 and CAD 125,661 per year.
• Permanent part‑time contract (2 shifts out of 15, with a weekend every other week).
