Open House Student Ambassador (Part‑time)

About the role

Enrolment Services at McGill University is looking for enrolled undergraduate students to join the Open House team. As a Student Ambassador you will help create a welcoming and informative environment for prospective students and their families during Open House events.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide directions to event activities.
• Share information about McGill, student life, and program offerings.
• Assist with seating, support presenters, and distribute event materials.
• Help set up and take down event spaces, including preparation of signage and handouts.
• Maintain volunteer break rooms and coordinate lunch distribution.

Required profile

• Current undergraduate student at McGill University.
• Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑directed, detail‑oriented, and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English (level 3/4).
• Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.

• Hourly wage of $16.70 (AMUSE A).
