Open House Student Ambassador (Part‑time)

About the role

Enrolment Services at McGill University is looking for enrolled undergraduate students to serve as Open House Student Ambassadors. In this part‑time role you will help create a welcoming and informative environment for prospective students and their families during Open House events.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming prospective students and their families to McGill.
• Providing directions and information about event activities at Open House.
• Providing information about McGill and student life as needed.
• Assisting with seating guests at information sessions, assisting presenters and distributing material.
• Assisting with preparation of material and event logistics (includes set‑up/take‑down).
• Maintaining volunteer break rooms and distributing lunch.
• Ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all attendees.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student at McGill University.
• High School Diploma (minimum education).
• Minimal or no prior experience required.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $16.70 CAD.
• Part‑time schedule of approximately 5 hours per week.
• Fixed‑term position running from 5 Oct 2026 to 30 Apr 2027.
